What to Wear to Java Jazz 2014 + Tips and Tricks
It's finally time for the biggest jazz event of the year in Indonesia, Java Jazz is being held this weekend for 3 days from February 28th to March 2nd. I have been going to JJF for three years straight and i love it so much! I always go on saturday since it always fits my schedule best but luckily it always has the best line up. From my experience, friday schedule is more "pop" and sunday schedule is the one that is really jazzy while saturday is in between them. But there's one really sinful thing i have to admit, i usually dress like a slob when i go to Java Jazz. So i have made up my mind to dress fancy this week and share with you tips on what to wear to Java Jazz!

Dress - Zara Trafaluc
Detachable Collar - Spotlight
Bag & Flat Shoes - Topshop
Bracelets - Thomas Sabo & gifted
Cat Ear Ring - Forever 21
What To Wear to Java Jazz 2014 & Tips :
1. Comfort Is Main Key
Just remember that you're going to a music festival, not a party. It's important to dress according to your style and look pretty but going around and standing for more than 8 hours on wedges is painful. I suggest you to wear shorts with simple tops or a comfortable dress with minimal accessories.
2. Java Jazz has TWO kinds of venues
Let's look at the situation there this way. Java Jazz consists of outdoor stages and indoor stages. The outdoor like you know is usually really hot while the indoor stages are freezing. Be sure to dress in layers. Bring a thin outerwear that you can stuff in your bag.
3. Sling Bag Is The Best
I recommend wearing sling bags to Java Jazz because you will be standing and the place would be cramped with people. You can hold your sling bag in front of you and prevent your things being stolen. I would totally not recommend hand bags because they are a really big fuss and can be easily stolen.
4. Keep 1/2 Mineral Water Bottles in Your Bag
Remember to haul like 3 water bottles in the venue and keep one or two in your bag because you tend to not have time to go out when the schedule is on full swing. This can prevent dehydration and can sober you up when you have started getting tired.
5. Prepare The Schedule From Home
Print out the day's schedule and highlight the ones you want to watch. That way you can take notes of the time and how long you should stay in one stage. I always prepare one day before the D Day so i can manage my time and get to watch more shows! :D be sure to come early so you can walk around the booths and eat!
Last but not least, HAVE FUN! :D See you on Saturday! Greet me if you run into me :P

Indeed! Comfort must be on the top of the list when we watch a concert. Wearing stiletto and standing the whole show is kinda torturing ourselves. So I'm with the flat team!! :D
