How To Moisturize Face Better | Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum Special Set Review

by - May 15, 2015

Hello hello lovely people of the internet. I'm back with review of Innisfree products that i've been using for about one and a half month. Innisfree is a Korean brand that claims to use natural products and special ingredients from Jeju Island. It also promotes green lifestyle as Innisfree recycles their bottles, makes some campaigns, and also promotes the use of handkerchief instead of tissues. I've always been curious about their products since Pony's collaboration with the brand last year for summer make up. So i checked their fairly new international online shop innisfreeworld.com and got a few products.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum Special Set
( USD $26 )
The set comes in a green box and has 3 products inside it; The Green Tea Seed Serum, Green Tea Balancing Skin, and Green Tea Balancing Lotion. They are all in medium size (70-80 ml). The general description of the products which is written on the bottles is "Enriched with fresh green tea seeds and squeezed green tea from the pure Jeju Island to deliver abundant moisture and nourishment deep into your skin."
I have to say that it's packaged really nicely and would also be perfect as a gift. I got this special set on a promotion and really happy about it because usually the serum itself costs 26 Dollars.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum Review
The serum is made from green tea water and green tea seeds to provide moisture to your skin. It says that it has a Dual Moisture Rising Technology that creates a moisture barrier on your skin and keeps your skin moisturised longer. The serum comes in a pump bottle which comes pretty handy because you only need one pump pro application. The consistency of the product as you can see is not so thick but a little bit gel-like. Its spreads pretty easily and has a soft perfume smell which is very relaxing. Once you apply it right after you washed your face, you can really feel that it's moisturizing and they're not lying; the serum keeps your face moisturized for a really long time. I would give this product a 10/10 !

This product is a liquid type toner with the same ingredients as the serum. It comes in a normal bottle which you have to like shake a little bit to get the product and you should apply it after you use the serum. This product is kind of "travel size" as it only has 70 mL inside it in comparison to the original size which is 200 mL. The consistency is very watery and i'm not sure if you guys can see how the toner looks like when i swatch it. It's a good toner but nothing really special. 7/10 !

Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Lotion Review
This is the last step to the green tea regimen. It's also in a "travel size" (70 mL) and the original is 160 mL. It's my second favorite product in the whole box because it's not sticky yet very moisturizing. I've never used lotion type moisturizer before and i'm impressed with this product. It keeps my whole face really moisturized throughout the day. 9/10 !

And by the way, what i love about korean beauty products is their generous samples! Gonna try these products out as well!

I usually use this set in the morning and apply a simple moisturizer cream from the body shop at night. So far it does good to me :D
I hope that this review is helpful for you guys, have a great weekend! xoxo
