Cateriam Cat Cafe Shimokitazawa, Tokyo Review : KAWAII!

by - July 11, 2014

It's one of my life goals to visit a cat cafe since i've seen it all over the internet and people keep saying how cute it is. So when my family decided to go to Japan for holiday, i immediately searched for the best cat cafe. I stayed in Shindaita, which is in walking distance to Shimokitazawa neighborhood so Cateriam is certainly the best choice. One word for this review : FLUFFY KITTEHSS :3

Overall, if being in a room with 11 kitties makes you happy, this is the place for you. Cateriam is quite easy to find. It's on the second floor so you have to go up a little. The drinks were quite nice with cute decorations such as the paws on the hot choco. There are a few rules that you have to obey such as not treating the cats violently, no camera flash allowed, and so on. I was grateful because one of the staffs speak English fluently and all of them were really friendly as well! They gave me a postcard with Ponchi's photo on it ( they know i really like him haha) I feel extremely happy in there, petting super cute cats and following them around to take pictures of them. The place is comfy as well! Overall i give Cateriam 4.5 stars! yeay!
