NYFW Obsession : Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2014
Living in a tropical country can be so sad sometimes. When people who live in 4 seasons countries often say that having sunshine all the time is nicer than having super cold weather. Sometimes that statement is true, sometimes NOT AT ALL. I'm in rage sometimes when the Fall/Winter collections are coming in, and fashion weeks are showcasing wonderful coats and thick sweaters and amazing warm things. I want to wear them, like all of them. But the weather is too hot here to wear them and to go rocking coats on the streets seem weird. My favorite runway collection for this winter is Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2014 which was held on 11th February in New York Fashion Week. Check the amazing collection out!

I have to say that this collection is such a love at first sight. Marc by Marc Jacobs really put a streetwear style on their collection this year. Making street style lovers like me obsess over the runway looks so much! Another aspect that i love is that this F/W collection has a huge variety of styles beside sticking to moto cross / military main idea. We have plain colors matched with tartans, huge bow shaped shawls, crazy colored apparels with shocking texts, to victorian/lolita-esque pleated skirts. Beside the clothing, the shoes are also interesting. Models rock sneakers and boots with stripe patterned calf length socks which to me is a fun and fresh new idea to spice up the whole collection, taking it to a higher level. The new designer pair Katie Hillier and Luella Bartley really outdid themselves in this collection. Personally, this is the kind of collection that i would wear and take them straight from the runway because i love them to the core! 5 out of 5 stars for Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2014 , brava!
